Promised Land Cabin Owners Association is a non-profit organization formed for the interest and education of its membership.  224 cabin owners enjoy the natural beauty of this 2970 acre state park located in the Northeastern corner of Pennsylvania.

Membership in the organization is available to all state forest leased campsite cabin owners on a voluntary basis.  The membership meets 3 times a year, Spring and Fall and a picnic in Summer.  We offer a Caretaker program which is added security for our leases and a garbage program.  A Newsletter is published and sent to the membership twice a year.
We support our local fire company and local businesses.

I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, "Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.”

Check the weather conditions before heading up to PL during the winter months.  Roads around the lake are not maintained so travel with caution.

Check ice thickness before venturing out on the lake.  Thicknesses below 4 inches are not solid enough to hold one anglers weight.  Life jackets are mandatory from November - April.
